Train like a professional

Daily Program

MORNINGS

The first half of the day is dedicated to skill development with specialized intensive exercises in a circuit-style training program focused on ball control, passing, dribbling and shooting.

AFTERNOONS

The second half of the day is dedicated to position training and tactical awareness to develop a better understanding of the game progression. Players will utilize the day’s technical skills in these tactical sessions.

Time Program
9:00 am Break into teams, Stretch and Warm up.
9:10 am – 10:55 am Technical Skill Development Stations

BALL CONTROL STATIONS:

Players will learn different types of ball controls and how to utilize various parts of the body to gain control of the ball.

PASSING STATIONS:

Players will learn various types of passing techniques and how to execute them successfully.

DRIBBLING STATIONS:

Players will learn the necessary ball-handling skills to effectively perform in both open field close-quarters situations.

FINISHING STATIONS:

Players will learn the different types of finishing opportunities and how/when to best employ them in situational plays.

11:00 am SPECIALTY GAMES and/or SMALL-SIDED GAMES
12:00 am LUNCH BREAK
1:00 pm

TEAM MEETINGS:

Coaches discuss game philosophy with the players, regarding communication, tactics, and game philosophy.

1:30 pm TACTICAL and POSITION TRAINING STATIONS

FORWARD TRAINING:

Coaches define and demonstrate the roles and responsibilities of forwards, at game pace.

MIDFIELDER TRAINING:

Coaches define and demonstrate the roles and responsibilities of midfielders, at game pace.

DEFENDER TRAINING:

Coaches define and demonstrate the roles and responsibilities of defenders, at game pace.

GOALKEEPER TRAINING:

(GOALKEEPERS ONLY) Coaches define and demonstrate the roles and responsibilities of goalkeepers, at game pace.

3:00 pm Team Scrimmages
3:50 pm Cool Down
4:00 pm Dismissal
